well those are politicians. I was in the businessworld and was over many men. But I always looked at the person, not the gender, or color, etc. I was told I needed to hire a certain color person, and I told them I would hire the most qualified.
I came a long way from the time a guy was hired to do the same thing I did at a higher salary. At the time I was single with my two boys and child support was iffy. I confronted my boss, he said the guy had a family to support, i pointed out that I had a family to support and had a lot more experience than the new hire. I ended up getting a huge raise. 💪
I said the same when hired lower than a man.
I was raising a baby and 2 lil girls.
I got the job and the pay ,but hey mine was at a convenience store that supported me and three young children!Because I was a Homemaker for 8 long years!
Regardless ,We as moms or women must step up or get stepped over,.Learned this a long time ago!
As a life learning motto,it helps when your marriage after many comfortable YEARS AS mine did in its day,the same rule applies.
Take me now as I am and give me an answer or I go on to the next job.
It's takes courage but honestly with myself,I saw it as I had no choice! Go For it and Regret nothing for trying! I still believe this is why I'm successful today, Confidence in myself and proving to my employer I'm worth the investment to keep me on their payroll! Ha! :) It's all about selling yourself and fulfilling what you said. Too bad our politicians cannot do as we do! The majority of them would be permanently terminated!
