Treasury just released a Russia sanctions update that says “all transactions prohibited...are authorized.” I’ll translate the doublethink. Sanctions are announced but the effective date is postponed. Treasury’s effort is a scam with high real world costs.

Fighting in Ukraine won’t last much longer. The reason is the Ukrainian Armed Forces are being annihilated; there won’t be anyone left to fight. Still, Biden and Republican warmongers will keep sanctions in place. More will die from economic sanctions than on the battlefield.
