Back in, and, exhausted from the heat.
But, not as exhausted and overheated as the poor lady I helped to find her car, in the grocery parking lot.
Poor thing. I kept seeing her the whole time I was looking for a spot. When I got out of my car….she was still looking. So, we walked around a bit and she kept pushing her car fob alarm.
She acted a little embarrassed and said she wasn’t “delusional”.
I told her I was just worried about her being in this awful heat. About that time, we heard her car horn, thankfully.
YEARS ago, something similar happened, at the mall. I made that (elderly) lady get into my a/c car, until we found her car. That’s back when people trusted each other a LOT more :)
That was very kind of you and probably made her day.
Now, I always park in the same place or near it so I don’t get lost in the parking lot.😁
I have a habit of not paying much attention to where I park and have learned the hard way.
Our temp has really dropped, 10°, as a storm is rolling in.
Son went walking around a lake a few miles from home and got rained on.
Haven’t seen anything yet but I brought the flags in just in case.
A few years ago an elderly woman approached me in a parking lot, looking for her husband. It was obvious she was in late stage dementia or alzheimer’s. Poor thing. I stayed with her and walked around until her husband came out of the store, ran over to us, and really thanked me.
