Former hedge fund CEO David McCormick conceded to Dr. Mehmet Oz on Friday in the Pennsylvania GOP primary for US Senate.
“It’s now clear to me with the recount now largely complete that we have a nominee,” McCormick said at a campaign party at a Pittsburgh hotel. “Tonight is really about all us coming together.”
I was very surprised to read about this concession so soon after the court decision to let the disputed ballots to be counted. I’m glad he conceded, but wonder what changed to cause this so soon after getting a favorable court ruling. Were those disputed ballots counted? Whatever, I find this to be a very positive development and hope that Mitch is still seething.
