Chuckster, what an adventure! That is a retirement inspiration. I’ve only been to HI once and it was by water on a guided missile frigate. Your video jogged many memories; finishing “At Dawn We Slept” the night before pulling into Pearl Harbor, visiting the AIRIZONA memorial, a luau with all the rum and pineapple juice you cold drink. I take my hat off to you sailing like that.

I arrived on a 707 courtesy of the US Army in '77.

30 years, almost to the day, later we left in Lealea, Captain Chuckster, First Mate Patriotic Rose. Now 5,487 days out of Honolulu cruising Southeast Alaska, sojourning at Mitkof Island.
