Yup, but it's worse than some in our awakened bubble think. Massive numbers of people watch Fox, ABC, NBC, and CBS nightly news. Even more watch their local affiliates every day. There's the morning shows people have on in the background while preparing for work. Then, since game shows and soaps are no longer an afternoon thing, there are "news" programs from about 3 to 6 until the nightly news airs (and again at 11). I know a lot of "educated" people who believe that listening to NPR is the wokest thing in the world. Cable news is but a sliver of the hold the networks have on the populace and I haven't even mentioned news papers. The bottom line is we have a long way to go to overcome network "news".
Did you see the figures about loss of viewership a while ago? Tucker is the most popular fox program and large numbers of dems and young people watch.
Considering that the last poll I saw (Rassmusin iirc) showed 83% of people think USA is headed in wrong direction under Bitem.
I have given up on all news and MSM talk shows. My addiction is YouTube video podcasts. My new favorites are Lewis Howes’ “School of Greatness” and Jaspreet Singh’s “Minority Mindset.”
