Many people are now testing positive while they’re on a cruise. They’re taken out of their cabin & moved to a quarantine deck. People on cruises are then taken off the ship to a hotel to quarantine and must test positive before they’re allowed to return to the US. I’m reading these posts everyday on FB from people who are going through this in Italy, UK, etc.

That's exactly what happened to a woman I know well.
She took a cruise on a Celebrity ship from Florida to Europe, about a month ago.

She is such an avid cruiser she will go again if Celebrity makes her a good offer.

A lot of people would be discouraged if they went thru her experience.-Tom

Well. There’s the answer to my earlier question in a different thread about staffing. Now the question remans - did the large cruise lines borrow enough to survive the Biden administration?

Carnival Cruise line borrowed another Billion dollars quietly, last week, to keep on going.-Tom

That’s surprising that she wants to cruise again. We just got over Covid & we quarantined at home for 5 days. Glad we weren’t stuck in a foreign country.

What law was broken?

Forcing experimental treatment on individuals was specifically addressed in the permissible experiments section of the Nuremberg Code in 1947. (http://www.cirp.org/library/ethics/nuremberg/)

"The great weight of the evidence before us to effect that certain types of medical experiments on human beings, when kept within reasonably well-defined bounds, conform to the ethics of the medical profession generally. The protagonists of the practice of human experimentation justify their views on the basis that such experiments yield results for the good of society that are unprocurable by other methods or means of study. All agree, however, that certain basic principles must be observed in order to satisfy moral, ethical and legal concepts:"

"The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision."

"The duty and responsibility for ascertaining the quality of the consent rests upon each individual who initiates, directs, or engages in the experiment. It is a personal duty and responsibility which may not be delegated to another with impunity."

"The experiment should be so conducted as to avoid all unnecessary physical and mental suffering and injury."

"Proper preparations should be made and adequate facilities provided to protect the experimental subject against even remote possibilities of injury, disability or death."

"The experiment should be conducted only by scientifically qualified persons. The highest degree of skill and care should be required through all stages of the experiment of those who conduct or engage in the experiment."

"During the course of the experiment the human subject should be at liberty to bring the experiment to an end if he has reached the physical or mental state where continuation of the experiment seems to him to be impossible."

The Nuremberg Kodex and the Declaration of Helsinki formed the basis for the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 45 Part 46.

Nuremburg Code is not law.

In the referenced example, no one was forced.

The Nuremberg Code applies to any legitimate and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights was adopted by the United Nations.

Even the lawyers for the pharmaceutical korporations excluded illegal aliens from their agreements with governments because they knew they would be exposed to lawsuits that the invaded country couldn't throw out in court. Even the lawyers for the pharmaceutical korporations admit they broke the law.

“The Nuremberg Code applies to any legitimate”

#32. https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4067153/posts?page=32#32

“and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights was adopted by the United Nations.”

Treaty, not law. Please cite where treaty was broken.
