It’s not hard for a young adult with a job to qualify for a credit card nowadays. I don’t think he was particularly concerned about making payments.

Yep, I concluded the same thing. Got a credit card and charged it all, knowing he would never have to pay it off.

We’re all guilty of speculation, myself included.

But NOBODY at 18 with a ‘zero’ credit score nets a credit limit sufficient to buy what he possessed.

It’s been stated several places that he used a debit card.
Not saying it’s true, just that it’s been stated in news articles.
