How disingenuous. The state of California has had an unprecedented exodus of its population for a variety of reason over the last several years. Where do large segments of these folks go? Florida and Texas...lol.

The murder rate went up 30% in 2020. So that’s proof that “gun control” just shifts the demographics. People simply use tire irons and cars instead...

But, shootings are actually up, according to this article, at least for LA County:

https://www.californiacitynews.org/2021/10/los-angeles%E2%80%99-murder-rate-keeps-rising.html

So, the Slimes is just lying, apparently.

visit there and you’ll soon learn that almost nobody in Cali pays any attention to that state’s illegal gun control rules

they are almost irrelevant
in actual practice, since the public has such utter contempt for them (and the politicians who adopted them)

therefore, any statistics from Cali are worthless

Well the fact that everyone in CA is moving to TX might help. Fewer people, fewer crimes.

The number that actually means something is violent crimes per capita, which is here.

Notice the trendlines. California's violent crime rate is rising every year since 1996. Texas's is rising, but more slowly, since about 1994. Florida's is falling, and is well below California's.

“Gun deaths dropped in California as they rose in Texas”

Nobody left in California to shoot?

All the Californicators that moved to Texas are pissing off lots of people?

Many people from the west coast, northeastern states and Mexico have moved to Texas.

These “statistics” are an outright lie.

I thought about starting a new post for this but I’m too lazy. If you want to read the stupidest article ever written about guns, read this one. Basically they’re making the case that when all gun owners are at the NRA convention shootings decrease because the NRA members, who obviously do all the shootings, are busy at the convention.

How much of those CA DA’s not reporting or lowering gun crimes to lessor charges so the stats are phony?

Salvadore Ramos did drugs and did not buy those firearms legally.

'Let’s rush in because the cops aren’t doing anything': Parents frustrated...
Daily Mail
By Harriet Alexander
25 May 2022

"Jocelyn Rodriguez, 19, a Wendy's employee, told The New York Times that when she heard Ramos was the shooter, she was initially shocked, but then less surprised.

She knew him to have a bad temper and to snap at people...said he had a tendency to pick fights with co-workers, and would often talk about how much he hated his mother and grandmother, whom he told her did not let him smoke weed or do what he wanted.
"

[Something else interesting in the article:]

"Under a new Texas law passed in September, those aged 18-21 could buy guns if they had a protective order, because they were at risk of family violence, stalking, prostitution or sex trafficking."

[Did he have a protective order against someone else? I've seen no mention of it.]

These are gun deaths (including suicide) or murders?

Also, the author fails to explain why the gun death rate has risen in Hawaii over the same time frame.

Homicides are homicides and they keep going up in CA. More bs spin from the left:

“ While California’s violent crime rate had decreased somewhat in 2020, homicides and aggravated assaults had increased.
California’s violent crime rate decreased by 0.5% to 428 per 100,000 residents between 2019 and 2020, an unprecedented period marked by the global COVID-19 pandemic. This change was driven by declines in robberies (14.9%) and rape (9.5%).”

Well, it’s also ‘gun deaths’, which includes more than murders. It also suggests that being killed by a gun is worse than being killed by a hammer.

I wonder why the lying BLM racists at the LA Times picked the year 2005?

Well, that’s the only year where their propaganda narrative works.

The Mexicans are on the verge of taking over LA County from the white, BLM racists. And the KKK white democrats are scared.
