Boiling water for 8 minutes, remove from heat source let cool for a while. When peeling, crack the fat side first under cool water and they peel like a charm.
A few months ago in one of these egg threads, I learned that when making hard boiled, if you drop eggs into boiling water they will peel effortlessly. That revolutionized my egg experience. :)

I read that also and tried it several times. It works better than any other method I’ve tried. Rolling Boil, drop them in for 5 then turn off and remove from heat for 12 minutes. Then drop eggs into ice batch for a period of time. Shells come right off, many times in 2 or 3 pieces.
I peel under running water and let the water stream help shed shell fragments away.
