Petey, you’re the second one to mention anger (or rage) and now I wonder. I had chalked the incident up to incompetence a/k/a vaxxident - I mean, who in their right mind drives like that? But then, he was able to put the car in reverse and get all the way back home in one piece, so who the heck knows? (scratching head) I don’t even know these people to know if there was a feud or grudge situation between them, as this is about half a mile away from where I live.
I sorta inherited this homeless cat feeding job, when a neighbor cat lady who used to live on the next block had to sell her house and move because covid devastated her family financially. I didn’t know until it was a done deal, and felt so bad. She begged me to care for what she said were 3 cats, that she had been feeding since the house they came from got repossessed and the owner abandoned them several years back. But I’ve only seen one of them. Well, and another at a distance, but only one comes to eat when I’m around. In fact she sees me coming, and runs meowing softly to greet me and walk with me to the feeding station. It’s so cute. She deserves a home, and I’d love to give her one, but DH is getting cranky in his old age about cats from the outdoors being adopted, what with their faulty litterbox habits and all. Oh well.
Sorry to hear about your friend and your cousin’s wife. So far no one close to me has gotten seriously ill or died due to suspicious vaxx reaction, but it’s likely only a matter of time.
