The post up thread about the little boy who survived said the kids had been told they were in “severe” lockdown and that he heard windows breaking before the gunman started shooting them. Maybe the shooter came into the room through a broken window... if the door was locked and they needed a key, how did the gunman get in? If he broke the window to enter, why didn’t the police come in through that broken window? If the classroom door was unlocked and he entered through it, how did the gunman lock the door?
I’m wondering if the school used lock-blocks on their doors. They allow the locked door to be propped open slightly and you can just slide the lock-block out of the way to quickly close and lock the door.
