I would go and not worry about it. Just enjoy yourself , and if you get covid, consider it another cruise experience.
Today I had another wild health experience.
At 2 PM I had finally given in to seeing a doctor ,about my last week 3 times being unable to breath. I figured I had pneumonia.
I was examined and the doctor had me wait outside in my son's truck for further instrucgtion via cell phone, on where and when to get my chest xray.
Then things took a turn for the worse as I started coughing, couldn't breath, got out of he truck and still couldn't breath, MY Doctor and 4 nurses came running out tried to help me to no avail, my doctor told one of the nurses to call for an ambulance, and bring me a wheelchair.
I had learned from the previous 3 episodes like this, how to get a little air into my lungs through my plugged up nose and not pass out.
Eventually I recuperated, scared the hell out of my son, went by ambulance to the South Shore Hospital Weymouth Mass ER, where they did tests x Rays etc. on me .
They released me tonight, and here is part of the Instructions:
I do not believe you have pneumonia on your xray, but more representative of your interstitial lung disease. You need to be reevaluated by your primary provider in the next 2 or 3 days.
I'll be 87 next month, I wonder if that has anything to do with my medical problems. LOL - Tom
Capt. Tom, Thanks for your encouragement. I left God out of the equation.
87!!! Hope the good lord gives me that many days! You sound like your a fighter. Hope your better. I’ll pray for you. 🙏🙏🙏
