Lookin forward to it. I gotta go and change my “end” time to 1 hour after the c,one of the show though because too often the recording gets cut off 20 laps too short because of the cautions. I keep forgetting to settle time to an hour later to end recording lol
Oh I miss my mind a lot
When is this race being televised? I just made it to season 2 of the F! series on netflix. Although i swore i wouldn’t watch another netflix show, this one is really good. No wokeness, just a great documentary following the races.
Now, I extend recordings by at least 1.5 hours, sometimes more.
09:00 — 11:00 am ET, Sunday morning, on ESPN.
09:00 — 11:00 am ET, Sunday morning, on ESPN.
Thanks. I”ll head to the early Mass so i can watch this. It’ll be my first one and I’m looking forward to it after watching the netflix series.
Easyźish way to convert metric to e Trish ormimperial,or whatever its called
Let’s say the number of kilometers is 144. Halve it. That gets you 72. Then take a quarter of the half. That’s 18.
Now, add the two together, the half and the quarter: 72 plus 18 in this case. You get 90. That’s the answer
https://www.wikihow.com/Convert-Kilometers-to-Miles
So the race is 308 miles total 1/2 is 154, 1/4 of that is roughly 38- 154 + 38 = 192 miles roughly.
If anyone has easier way, please post- I stink at math.
Lol, I hate getting almost to the finish and then it ends, and I think everytime it happens “dang it, I did it again... when am I gonna learn?”
(Yup, more than once.)
9am on F1.TV not sure of when/where on commercial tv
F1.TV is well worth the $
Sure, open a browser window, and in the search bar type "300 km to mi" and Google will give you the answer.
Lol.i meant manufacturing calculations in the mind. I watch racing a ,ot and many times they o ly show metric, and I have no clue how fast they are going
Present Boss, I hopefully will be done getting the electrical work done and be able to sit back and watch the weekend Lineup.
LOL. My normal “in my head” calculation is based on the fact that 100 KM is 62 miles. Thus that’s why you often see “0-62mph” times on car spec sheets. They’re really measuring 0-100KPH for the European market, and instead of redoing the test or fudging some adjustment factor to get a 0-60 time, they just say 0-62.
Forgot to add: So for your example of 308 km race, I’d triple 62 and get approximately 186 miles. 10 km is 6.2 miles, so 8 km would be about 5. So I’d gustimate 308 km to be 186+5 or 191 miles.
Google says 308 km is 191.382 mi.
Thanks, that helps get me in the ballpark, quicker. So,when I see cars going say 300 kh, it is 186 mph, 320 km would be 198-
Still too much mind work for me, but easier thst the first way I posted.

I used to have a very slow internet so F1 TV was not possible.
I might have to give it a try now that we have Starlink...
