PBC is on the beach. I am 6 miles off the beach. Beachside will be much more expensive. What are you seeing on beachside for costs?
By PBC I mean S. Florida and not PCB in the panhandle. I’d guess 3x yours. It is going to get crazy here with the Surfside going down last year. Every condo bldg is getting checked and permitting and inspection laws are changing. Almost every bldg on the ocean over 10 years old is going to have issues and not enough in reserve. There are going to be astronomical numbers for those owners. The home roofs are a big issue, too. With some people getting roof claims paid when the insurance companies didn’t think they were covered. The lawyers and “independent” insurance adjusters are wrecking havoc.
