Had a bout of it a few years ago. Miserable.... undeniably so.
Once you “touched” the area that started tingling/itching, that’s all she wrote as it was breakout time. Took about three weeks or so before relief was granted.
Vaccine..... what’s the point now that I’ve already beat it back.
Worst thing that can happen to you.... not even close. Try losing a child then get back with me.
Then you've lived a very blessed life, health-wise.
Hubby had shingles. Got him to a doc within a few hours of onset of symptoms. Doc gave him a scrip for an antiviral and the outbreak amounted to an annoyance.
Neither of us are planning on getting a shingles vaxx in the near future.
