While I think Wayne Lapierre needs to go, replacing him with Allen West would be a very, very bad move. As a life member, I think they need strong, committed 2nd amendment businessman, not a personality with controversial past, likely to be a distraction from NRA’s mission and challenges, many that Wayne Lapierre and his cronies created.
Someone that is there for only one reason, the good of the organization and not personal promotion or enrichment.
