The Founders explicitly addressed what happens when governments (including ours) become tyrannical. In quite a few different writings, as I recall.

We are dangerously close to such times, and the Dems just keep throwing more gasoline on the fire. Everyone, myself included, is hoping for a peaceful outcome, but it is surely hope - not certainty.
