The Purpose Of Political Correctness Is To Humiliate
by R. SCOTT CLARK on February 21, 2015 |
Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

Well. This is what NORMAL people would say. This is what I would say. This is what I thought when I saw that cover yesterday.
There is nothing wrong with accepting someone as they are for what they are as a person. It is another thing for being forced to mouth the lines "That obese woman is the pinnacle of female perfection" as if it were something you would believe without a gun of some kind being held to your head.
I would have no problem associating with, being friends with, working with, or being in love with if that were my choice. No problem at all.
But if someone tries to make me say aloud "That is the standard of female beauty from my perspective as a man", well...I won't say it. I won't lie. I won't say she is ugly, bad, or anything like that. Just not a female I find attractive.
To the Left...that is ThoughtCrime. And they can't have that.
Thanks
