Good night’s sleep: Here’s a piece of proven advice for ALL parents of newborns. DO NOT let them set the sleep schedule. Keep them awake by whatever means, rolling around, playing, rattling, etc. until YOUR bedtime. Put the jammies on. Be ready for bed. And when they absolutely beg to sleep, put them down and then go yourself. You should have already done the clean-up jobs. Once conditioned, every baby I’ve been around will then go for a solid 12 hours-—typically until they start grade school. semper fi
Bags, your job for the next few weeks, if you accept it, is to sit in an easy chair and drape that baby across your chest.
