My speed-reading really needs a tune-up, though I may just be beyond tired. I continued quickly reading other posters’ replies and finally came to understand that tiny Elliott is a girl. I missed that in your original post.
I think I also misunderstood what you meant by “Eliot is out”. You were talking about the choice or spelling of her name, not saying she was out of her Mummy now (born)? That may happen this weekend? I need to work on not being so literal, or slow down when processing information.
What will you ask to be called by her, or will you let Elliott decide that when she’s old enough? Fun times ahead for both of you!

I got my first baby kiss from my grandson the other day. My son was holding him and I leaned up to kiss his cheek to say goodbye. Before I could kiss him, he leaned into me with his little open mouth and gave me a slobbery peck near my eye.
