Some of us remember longhorn cheese, which was a half-moon shaped piece of cheddar. Hard to find nowadays…people prefer pre shredded cheese.
There was also the shrink wrapped chunks of chocolate that were sold in the produce section-mostly was made by Ghirardelli’s.
Both of the items you mention are readily available from the HEB food chain in Texas. But HEB is well known for being one of the better run businesses in the USA.

Longhorn is a style of Colby cheese. I think it’s mostly just that it’s sold in a half-round rather than a block.
