I do have more than a year’s worth of TP.
Which is a little more than I had on hand when this covid nonsense began.
Only about a year’s worth then. I wasn’t really prepared. lol
I became a fanatical prepper for Y2K and stayed one since.
After Y2K my wife was laughing at me.
During Covid she thought I was brilliant for stocking up when she saw all the empty store shelves.
(Even a broken clock gets the time right twice a day. :-) )
I have always been a prepper and I rotate through my stock. In February of 2020, I had a bad gut feeling things were going south and DH and I offered a substantial amount of money each to my brother, sister and brother-in-law to help them prep. My BIL and sister responded to me that they were already stocked up (yay), but my brother read me the riot act over my “conspiracy theories”.
Guess which one recently reached out to us for a loan?
ROTFL
Isn’t it funny how your status waxes and wanes as the shifting winds of time go by?
And yet you probably feel like you’ve pretty much been the same guy all along just doing what you do. :)
I have two refrigerators and thus two freezers. I’d be hard pressed to wedge one more 1 lb. package of anything in either of them. If I had the space for it I’d have acquired a chest freezer too. Dry goods and canned in supply beyond their likely usability. Time to crank up the garden as well.
“Guess which one recently reached out to us for a loan?”
Interesting.
We just had a leftist family member beg for money, complained about “inflation”.
They voted for it, they own it!
I would wager that your family member has not put 2 and 2 together yet either.
