“they pulled the cover back a bit there for a glimpse of the next envirowacko target.”
One of many, no doubt. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s, and therefore have seen us go from dealing with basic questions of sanitation to environmental “microaggressions” like tire dust. The environmental movement is never satisfied. Nothing is ever enough. Each measure we take is merely a stepping stone to the next. What is the real endgame here? I shudder to think about it.
“What is the real endgame here?”
My sister and I discuss that all the time. It seems unanswerable. They lurch from one cause to the next, no matter how extreme, to see what might catch on. I don’t think any of them really think about an endgame or where we could be headed. They just live for the excitement of “activism” and need a cause, any cause, to feel fulfilled.
The endgame is very straightforward.
Humans cause pollution and harm the planet.
Therefore any true hard core environmentalist favors the “final solution”—at least for folks they don’t like.
