Iran, Libya, Syria, and Iraq were already screwed up. As for the LGBTQ thing, Colonel Qadaffi, a longtime ally of Russia who was using Iraqi scientists in his WMD research, was its poster child. All the stuff you cite is stuff the Democrats (with the backing of Russian And Chinese lonbyists) forced on us, too. And the Russian mafia thrives on human sex trafficking, which is tied in with their Intel services, and their military hazing practices are really perverse and kinky, LGBT people could learn a lot from them.

Yes the Soviets did kill lots of Ukrainians, and the Ukrainians slaughtered tens of thousands of Jews and the Mongols almost wiped out the Russians. It is a rough neighborhood.

Is Russia corrupt, sure, they are still better than the Ukrainians and still recovering from the Bolshevik disaster. Yeah, they jailed 300 journalists, but the UK jailed 3000, so, all of this is relative. I doubt there is a government on this planet that isn’t corrupt. Too many people act like Ukraine is some innocent be-sainted little child, they are not, in fact they are far from it.
As for Libya, they made a deal with Bush junior to turn over their nuclear material, a positive direction, then we screwed them. After the Color revolution, they brought back the Black slave trade.
The fact is any country that threatens the US dollar, by not trading oil in dollars (Iraq, Libya, Syria & Russia) ends up with troubles.
