“ Mother of 8-Month-Old: Baby Formula Shelves Completely Empty…”No Other Options!”
Recall about 2 some odd years back, there was discussion on the thread, (maybe prompted by a ZH article??) about an across the board sell off in stocks of companies focused on children’s needs (feeding, clothing/diapers, toys)?
Anyone remember this and or know how to drum it up relatively quickly?

Yes, there is another option! I remember a family member in 1966, before commercial formula, making her own. Baby refused the breast. Evaporated milk (or perhaps powdered milk) and Karo syrup. I was thinking light Karo, but ran across a twttr thread and others mentioned dark Karo. I couldn't remember proportions or whether light or dark. (It was a long time ago and I was pretty young.) Replies on the twttr thread said 8 oz. milk to 1 spoonful of Karo.
