I think the PA Trump voters have already figured out that both McCormick and Oz had to be eliminated in order for Barnett to win.

I'm sure Barnette would be an excellent Senator; but, PDJT also stated there are other good candidates in the primary who would have trouble winning the general election, and that is why he backed Dr. Oz. He is MAGA; and he can WIN.
As I recall, PDJT went out of his way to clarify this point: that he has consulted very good sources in reaching this conclusion about the general election.
