His dissing of Sessions was a tactic.

I am not committed to any side of the Sessions question.

But I am open minded to both.

Sessions did not dazzle with his performance.
Even if we ignore the whole recusal thing as part of 3D chess he failed to get much of anything else done other than a few band-aids on illegal immigration.

I agree. The dissing of Sessions was done on Fake News. The thanking for his service was done on a less public channel, for us.
