This might help. I am very familiar with this website and have ordered supplies for many years. They have a “find good milk” page where you just put in your zip code. Your 4H extension office might also be able to help. https://cheesemaking.com/tools/good-milk-list
Check with your state and then local Farm Bureau. They should know about small local herds near you; you could talk with the owners about their herd practices and production methods. They may even list those in their promotional material, if they have any. Check also with the local Chamber of Commerce, they should have a list of small businesses including agricultural. Worth it if you can find some locally produced goat cheese without the buck smell.
