Did you ever consider that teaching the children to fight their own battles might actually be the "adult" thing to do? After all, parents shouldn't need to fight their children's battles throughout their lives.

My two boys were third degree black belt by the time they graduated from high school; and, I taught them to be aware of "dark zones" in the video surveillance system.

I never heard reports of bullies being particularly successful with them.

A parent directly intervening with someone else's children is a very bad idea that can only result in criminal charges being filed against that adult. The article to which we respond demonstrates that, doesn't it?
