A massive brawl broke out at an Arizona High School when more than 30 students and a parent engaged in a fight during a lunch break.
Tucson High School was placed on lockdown for several hours after the violent altercation on Tuesday.
Footage of the incident posted on social media shows the disturbing scene as students punch, kick and blast each other.
The fight began after a parent, wearing a red shirt and jeans, reportedly walked onto campus to confront a group of kids attacking his son. He had received reports that his son, who has special needs, was going to 'get jumped' outside of school.
When he arrived, he found kids attacking the boy's brother who was sticking up for him, a relative told DailyMail.com.
An adult wearing a red shirt and jeans can be seen taking part in the fight and laying on top of a teenager as the older man grabs him by the neck.
Tucson police said that the parent was taken into custody but his name has not been released.
Rosalinda Martinez, the sister of the man, told DailyMail.com that her brother had been released Tuesday night and had only been charged with class disruption.
'The judge had seen all the videos and understood the circumstances and told him they could have done things differently and avoid it all,' Martinez said.
'I'm sure the kids are going to need some kind of counseling. That was too much trauma. One of my nephews had a concussion.'
Authorities believe the fight started when the adult man arrived at the campus during the lunch break. No weapons were used in the fight and no injuries were reported, police said.

It was a fictional tv show to entertain.
My two boys were third degree black belt by the time they graduated from high school; and, I taught them to be aware of "dark zones" in the video surveillance system.
I never heard reports of bullies being particularly successful with them.
A parent directly intervening with someone else's children is a very bad idea that can only result in criminal charges being filed against that adult. The article to which we respond demonstrates that, doesn't it?
Be smart.
The child was disabled.
Maybe you should go back and actually read the article?
Interesting that you boast of training your children for violence, and then start slinging insults towards those who advocate the use of violence in defense of others...
I was raising the issue of a PARENT attacking CHILDREN rather than working through the authorities. Are you actually that simple, or are you just too far into your narrative to gracefully back out?
Is KY a free state, with Constitutional carry? Sounds like a bit of Death Wish is in order for Louisville. Go all Paul Kersey on them.
Last time moron... Man was called to school and saw his disabled kid being attacked.
Yes... Any functional adult would wade in and start knocking skulls to protect his child.
Well, except some simpering douchebag like you. You’d go and start filling out paperwork and hiring lawyers...
Why are kids **forced** into a dangerous environment that would win **millions** for an adult in court?
Then the kids are gaslighted. They are told that this horrific environment is preparing them for the “real” world.
Can the kid quit like an adult could? Nope! If they do that they will learn about the real world of armed police and courts.
People should not have to send their kids to school with these animals.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Yes! Yes! Yes!
People should **NOT** be forced to send their child into an environment that would win an adult **millions** in court.
The worst part is that we gaslight children by insisting that this toxic environment is good for them and socialization for the “real world”.
A truly concerned parent would not have sent a disabled child to a public school.
Keep trolling with your straw an inanities.
Exactly, he should have hired it out.
You are clearly a stupid redneck.
*************
What is the problem with you? What ethnicity do you claim?
Maybe people could have a few adjectives for you..
Well , I mean as a entire city I might be exaggerating slightly. However I would say a good 1/3 of the city is dangerous at night, to be out walking alone.
He opened hostilities by calling me a coward. His behavior IS very redneck-like.
