I’ve never been but my Favorite Daughter was stationed in Naples, so she saw a lot of the area. Small world! That’s where we were stationed. We lived in a crumbling, 100-year-old villa in Pozzuoli and I had a balcony off my bedroom. It was an idyllic experience for all of us.

Made it through 36 hours of steady rain, but then we gave up. It was nice up there this morning, but supposed to rain again this afternoon, and we wouldn’t even have gotten all our gear dried.
