One of my neighbors is a “super couponer,” buying large amounts of whatever she can get for almost nothing. She has a garage sale once a month to turn the goods back into cash.
I’ve saved coupons, but these days, with no family to feed, most of the coupons I find are for things I don’t use. So I just hope that what I buy might have a discount that doesn’t show up until I select it for the shopping cart at Walmart.
My bedroom nightlight burned out sometime during last night and when I went to buy one at Walmart this morning, it was $2 off! So I bought a second one for what would have been the cost for one. I suspect my other ones will start going out soon. They were guaranteed for 18 months but have lasted four years.
With my balance like it is, I need to be able to see my way around at night.
