So, a collie, a German shepherd, and a cat were sitting at the Pearly Gates when the LORD decided to come by to see who was waiting to get in.
He asked the German shepherd to tell his story. The shepherd said, “Well, I was protecting a flock from some wolves. The flock survived, but I didn’t, so here I am.” The LORD said, “That’s very noble. Please go sit at my right hand.”
He then asked the collie. The collie said, “Well, one of my master’s sons fell into the water so I went in to push him toward shore. The boy survived, but I didn’t, so here I am.” The LORD said, “That’s also very noble. Please go sit at my left hand.”
He then turned to the cat. The cat said, “Excuse me, but I think you have my seat.”
LOL!! “You’re sitting in my spot.”
