Good morning. Happy Monday! Maybe Monday will look better from this angle.

My in-laws finally accepted my offer to drive them on their monthly 1.5 hour (1 way) drive to their hometown church. Before coming back we visited my wife’s 100-y-o uncle who was on a destroyer in Pearl harbor when it was bombed. His was the only destroyer to clear the harbor during the attack. He had just come back from 8 days in the hospital so I don’t think he’ll be telling his stories much longer. Still, his mind was in very good shape.

My week is off to a good start. I hope it can hold.

Very cool! What amazing things he must have seen throughout his life. And he is a true hero.
