Thanks! It was wicked being without it. But I do have plenty of DVDs and the phone worked so it was OK. I didn’t like it, because I’m pretty much confined to home, but some things can’t be avoided.

I don’t suppose we’ll ever know the cause of it, but that’s OK, too.

Mona was here for a bit today. One of the more obnoxious neighbors seems to be spending a few days as a guest of the county. He has no idea what a topic of conversation he is! I’ve gotten it from two people and an insinuation from a third.

And, we seem to have a new neighbor. He may not like it here once he finds out this place is a rumor mill.

I slept pretty heavily for a while. Now I’m going to cut up some beets I dug up yesterday. I left them sitting outside in some water, and the greens have dried up, but I can get greens from another one!
