Omigosh, I love this too much. Hilarious!

Not often, but once in a while, my voice coach would wince and say “diphthong!” when a little Texas accent crept into something I was singing.

And I don’t even have a strong accent.

IIRC, a weak Texas accent is when “well” is only 2 syllables instead of 3.
