Good morning! I’m fonder of dogs in the abstract than in real life. Yesterday at camp, there were two dogs - both looked like beagle-and-something - following me around in the morning. They left when they realized my backpack didn’t have food in it.

I don’t know why dogs think I like them. Maybe it’s because I say, “Good morning, dogs. How are you today?” instead of, “Get outta here, ya lousy mutts!”
