The Other Folks got in around 1700 last evening, after a 3-hour lay-over in Chicago. They spent the night at the TWA hotel at JFK, giving them time to charge their phones, then flew to Chicago and home.
I haven’t heard from them today, yet, but that doesn’t mean anything. I know they’re up because Favorite Son has already posted on Facebook. They probably went to Walmart, as they need food, after a 3-week absence.

Yep that would be me.
Good morning. Did you have a good night?
I got sidetracked several times before actually getting here. Now I’m waiting for the water to get hot. The recovery time for it is longer than I’ve ever seen for a 40-gallon tank, and this one is about 20.
I’ve been trying to catch up on stuff that came in overnight. Sometimes, it’s nothing and sometimes it takes an hour to weed through stuff. I’ve been reading about our Founder. He’s improving, thank goodness.
The space heater in the bathroom died, and I figured it was about time, so I’m not disappointed. It’s three years old. It’s a good thing I have a second one.
I went outside yesterday to get the mail and I wanted to stay for a while. The heat from the sun felt so good. But the air was too thick.
