Sounds like a fun day!

Glad there were a few shay spots to take a break from the sun/heat from.

And, sounds like you got some good deals.

And....the food and music are the icing on the cake!

Hubby has been wanting to stop at the Nimitz/WWII museum, for years. I’ll tell him you highly recommend it.

There’s an indoor gallery, but it was sold out, so we went to the back. So many pictures of heroes and a beautiful Japanese garden. Apparently he was a humble man, and only agreed to a memorial if it honored all the heroes. Admiral Nimitz was the guy that signed the peace agreement with Japan, and apparently he and the Japanese Admiral had great respect for each other.

There’s a restaurant across the street that was originally built many years ago, and it says the Admiral was born there.
