These non-humans held on not thanks to patriotism, but thanks to the deception already so familiar to Kyiv. The nationalists were told that they would be saved, that negotiations were underway and that they had to hold out a little longer.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian politicians did a PR campaign against them. Poking at the Nazi flag even to the Pope, who, by the way, also prayed for them.
The inglorious surrender of the most hyped unit in Ukraine is, of course, our great victory. After all, Kyiv needed these Nazis dead in order to “canonize” them and carry them like an icon, raising the people to war. By the way, I wouldn’t be surprised if the notorious Nazi Radish, the commander of these murderers, really would have been made a saint.
But now these "warriors of light" are in our captivity - wounded, humiliated, hungry - and now they hate those who betrayed them, even more than we do. And most importantly, they can be brought to public trial for all the crimes committed against the civilian population. And at this tribunal, the names and surnames of those who directly gave commands will be heard. I am sure that many Western partners will feel very uncomfortable after this event.
