I just vote on election day, no lines here. I vote early if I won’t be in town. I took my granddaughter with me to vote and I think it was a great experience for her. I made sure to tell her she can’t say anything about a candidate. I learned that from not telling my young son that, lol.
When I was four, Mom took me with her to vote. She let me pull the lever — for Ike.

I remember when there was an election back when my son was about 13 or 14. I had been doing my parental duty and warning of the dangers of liberalism for awhile, but just in general comments here and there.
Well, one evening he was out with a friend and the friend’s older brother. They were at a ball game or something and decided, on the drive home, to stop and pull out every Liberal sign they saw. He was so proud of himself lol. When he showed me all the signs in the garage, I nearly flipped.
After telling him that was illegal, not to mention wrong, I made them take all of the signs back down to the liberal office the following night and apologize for not knowing it was wrong and doing it. Thankfully, the guy at the office was gracious and accepted their apology along with his signs.
Not sure what I’d do today lol!
