Great news, about the CT rescue taking the kittens.
I bet you have grown attached. They sure have a knack for stealing our hearts, fast.
Thanks for the update.
We just got back from a loooooong road trip, to your old stomping grounds....for a 75th birthday party, for a cousin.
We had some delicious food, EVERY meal. I even brought home chiles rellenos, for the kids. They wouldn’t be happy if I didn’t bring back some *official* Mexican food!
Now....to catch up....on ALL I’ve missed. May have to finish catching up, in the a.m.
Welcome home, Jane!
Sounds like you had a very yummy trip.
South Texas?
I miss El Paso Mexican food. I even miss Bakersfield Mexican food. I haven’t found any Tennessee Mexican food that even closely resembles the authentic stuff.
I am SO attached! My first thought when I read the email that they would take the kittens was that they can’t have them. And then I thought - oh that’s why I got into this, now I need to think about if we should let them have them. Now I’m pretty much resigned. Especially since the lady in New York is willing to drive an hour and half to get to Connecticut to pick them up. Apparently it was a different branch that would take the kittens, but they all use the same phone number and email. I bet that gets pretty confusing.
