Texas’ newest H-E-B includes 2-story barbecue restaurant, home department
H-E-B recently opened a new store in fast-growing New Braunfels. Here are five things to know about what it includes.
It includes H-E-B’s first two-story True Texas BBQ restaurant.
There’s indoor seating on both levels of the restaurant. The menu includes brisket, smoked turkey breast and pulled pork, loaded potatoes and sides such as cornbread, mac & cheese and potato salad.
H-E-B has opened 19 True Texas BBQ restaurants across Texas, according to its website. Texas Monthly called it the “best statewide barbecue chain in Texas” in 2019.
It features the company’s first Home by H-E-B department.
Customers can browse candles, mirrors, pillows, kitchen textiles, rugs, throw blankets and accent furniture under the Haven + Key brand.
Reading this caused me to crave some brisket.

We used to go to that old location...horrid store, terrible parking, etc...before they built the newer locations.
First I’ve heard of their BBQ restaurants....now, I want brisket, too. I love brisket burritos with asadero cheese and green sauce.
I just saw a video of two migrants attempting to swim across at Eagle Pass. Saw one drown. His friend made it to a post in the water, and someone told him not to try to swim.
The National Guard informed the BP, who informed the Mexican authorities who took the (reluctant ) guy back to Mexico.
The big nes is the reporter said the National Guard has boats but were instructed not to attempt rescue of crossers as it was too dangerous.
