Oh dear! I sure do understand the mixed feelings, but it sounds like a great opportunity for good homes for them. How soon do they go?

They will get spayed and neutered the middle of June. The next transport after that is the end of June, so that’s probably the one. I don’t remember much about the kitten or mother surgeries, if they would be healed enough to travel by then.

I had a several hour panic, when they told me it was the New York branch of the rescue that would take the kittens. But the transport I know of only goes to Connecticut. Weird that it wouldn’t stop in New York at least once though. But the lady at the rescue said she lives about an hour and 10 minutes from one of their stops, so she would be willing to drive to pick them up. Rescue people are the best, they do so much and for no pay. Actually I think it ends up costing them.
