Not to mention he was previously arrested for saying he was going to shoot up the school. Plenty of reason to flag this kid - our system allowed this to happen, not guns.

3rd night of not sleeping much, may have to take a break from the news, everything so bad but this latest horrifying shooting in Uvalde has done it for me.
My thoughts and prayers are with the town of Uvalde.🙏

Watch the Dems and complicit GOP call for more gun restrictions/bans/red flag laws because “We must DO something!”
Uvalde has a nine member SWAT team, well equipped, and the town spends 40% of its budget on the police.
But they had to wait for a Border Patrol tactical team to do the job?
Federal Marshals on the scene (restraining the mother)?

I have tried not to comment too much on the Uvalde story until today. I have tried not to read anything on the story because it is just too horrible.
Shock has turned to anger, as I am sick of being subjected to mass psychosis by my own government.
The story changes daily and not for the better.
People need to wake up.
A dim TX congress critter was on TV this morning saying the shooter had bragged about 4 years ago that he was going to go shoot up a school.
The perp definitely had issues that needed to be addressed by mental health.
I’m going to wait for more info to come out before I jump on the bash police bandwagon.
I don’t think there should be a “bash police band wagon”.
As I’ve said….these are folks who have signed up for a job that put their lives on the line, every time they leave for work. Are there ever bad apples? Sure. Like any profession. Are they all? No way.
At the same time….as others have mentioned…there are things about this particular tragedy that aren’t adding up.
And, as others have said….if this IS the case, as is being reported, then these folks need to be held accountable.

House Republican Claims Uvalde School Shooter Was Arrested Four Years Ago for Threat to Shoot Up a School

Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) claimed on Friday that the gunman behind Tuesday’s shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, was arrested four years ago for threatening to shoot up a school.
Salvador Ramos, 18, shot and killed 19 children and two adults before being killed by police. It was the third-deadliest school shooting in U.S. history, behind the 2007 Virginia Tech shooting and 2012 Sandy Hook shooting.
Gonzales, whose congressional district includes Uvalde, told Fox News that he found out on Thursday night that “the shooter was arrested years ago, four years ago, for having this plan for basically saying, for saying, you know, when I’m a senior in 2022, I am going to shoot up a school.”
“Something fell between the cracks between then and now to allow this to happen. We need to shake out all the facts. We need to figure out what happened. Where the holes and we need to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” he said. “But if law enforcement, you know, identified him four years ago as a threat, we need to figure out why he wasn’t – you know, how he got removed from that.”
Authorities have said that Ramos had no criminal record as an adult but may have had a juvenile record. Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich noted that juvenile records are frequently unavailable to the public.
Details have surfaced about Ramos’ past difficult social life and that he was known to police. The Washington Post reported that Ramos lived a rough life with his mother, whom they said did drugs. Reyes told the outlet that she tried kicking her son out of her house, causing him to scream at her.
I know one thing, I am sick of being played by TPTB to further their sick agenda.

That it was 2 other boys who were looked into for saying this.
