What a babe! She still melts my heart with that sweet voice, her looks and those expressions. I just love that she's up there with that tremendous talent, tasteful clothes, simple dancing, the ability to carry a tune, no fireworks, no gross in-your-face sexuality. She had that magnificent crystalline quality in her voice.

What wonderful lyrics! Wiki --> "Bob Dylan wrote "If Not for You" as a love song to his wife Sara. It was one of several songs he wrote in 1970 that conveyed his contentment with family life and celebrated the simple pleasures of nature."

Nobody could write lyrics and music like Dylan.

Thanks for posting.

If not for you, babe, I couldn't find the door
Couldn't even see the floor
I'd be sad and blue if not for you. If not for you, baby, I'd lay awake all night
Wait for the morning light
To shine in through
But it will not be new if not for you.

If not for you, my sky would fall, rain would gather too
Without your love I'd be nowhere at all
I'd be lost if not for you
And you know it's true.

If not for you, my sky would fall, rain would gather too
Without your love I'd be nowhere at all
Oh what would I do if not for you ?

If not for you, winter would have no spring
I couldn't hear the robins sing
I just wouldn't have a clue
Anyway it wouldn't ring true if not for you
If not for you, if not for you.

And George Harrison covered this Dylan song on All Things Must Pass. Also, “Behind That Locked Door” on that album was about George’s friend Bob Dylan.
