“He looks like a troll, planted and now activated.”

It’s easier that way. You know he never could be bothered to read an article of any length but would never read one that long. That way they don’t have to think deeply or have to be involved in anything including contemplation.
I had a girlfriend like that once, she preferred not to look beyond the tip of her own nose. If something hadn’t directly affected her in that moment, she couldn’t be bothered with it. Absolutely no vision and not a care in the world for anything or anybody else. She too just liked being snarky contributing nothing of value to a conversation, because that’s how she dismissed reality. It’s been 35 years and she’s not changed a bit (I still know her)...changes jobs every couple of years, if they last that long. She just doesn’t care.
Probably like that, is my guess. I haven’t had any interactions with him before today, that I remember, nor bothered to look at his posting history. But I can imagine it is mostly the same useless type of comments.
It’s to save the earf dontcha know and reduce climate change, whatever the F that means.
You see this is where the rubber meets the road:
“Union Pacific began mandating railroad shipping reductions by 20%”
Why?
Choice A:
UP is struggling to meet shipment demand. this is a way for them to ration availability.
Choice B:
UP is part of a vast conspiracy to starve people so that Bill Gates can control our food.
Paranoid people choose B.
Occams razor says “A”. If you want me to choose B you need to PROVE TO ME that UP is doing it per choice B. Extraordinary claims require extraordnary evidence.
Couple this with the way the FDA is going after the Amish farmer in PA there’s definitely something amiss going on.
Its been illegal for what the Amish farmer has been doing for EONs....
Oh and BTW, there is one exception for raising and slaughtering chickens. You can do up to 1000 chickens per year without USDA.
I know a little about food production in PA as I live there and have a small farm. I know I can produce and sell raw cider to my hearts content with no USDA inspection as long as it is labeled unpastuerized and sell it myself within the state and directly to consumer. I did my first sales last year.
The answer may be Choice A but still achieves the desired outcome of Choice B.

See Jacknhoo posts #9, #15, and #19 for further clarification
So what are the FACTS that prove supply chain problems are being created in order to starve people?
What could possibly go wrong??
Maybe this is what they’ll (folks like Bezos, etc.) turn all of the empty malls into.....mNRA designed, verticle *farming*.
🤔
Only the politically loyal will eat. At least that;s the plan.
One of the final links; https://www.fda.gov/food/new-era-smarter-food-safety/new-era-smarter-food-safety-blueprint
New Era of Smarter Food Safety Blueprint
Tech Enabled Traceability.
PDF available in English, Spanish and Chinese(simplified)
Did not know we had so many Chinese living here that docs will be available in Chinese now. Interesting.
Thanks for the link to Corey Digs. I like websites that do the deep dive. UnlimitedHangout and TheLastAmericanVagabond are others.
What precious cargo is taking precedence over fertilizer to grow food for people?
Ping!

Ctrl+F for “stakeholder” 16 instances. Gee, where have I heard that word before?
Reading through that pdf, I don’t see how small producers will survive. Talking about tech and more tech, blockchain, AI, and data interoperability for traceability and food safety.
Ready to buy $50k worth of tech for that market garden?
Gee I dont know, maybe say grain?
Again, to go from UP rationing capacity=trying to starve people is a ridiculous claim until it is proven.
Local food is readily available. If your local farmer doesnt make Ramen, perhaps you shouldnt eat it anyway.
Where I live, between Cleveland and Pittsburgh you can lotsa of local food without stepping in a walmart/gorcery store.
