"On or about 10/30, there were a series of strategic nuclear exchanges between Russia, America, and China, resulting in approximately 1.5 billion dead and wounded worldwide. "
To: Lazamataz
If the Russians were going to nuke us, I think it’ll be much quicker than this.

Alternate:
Following days of raucous debate over the ongoing distractions, you have a good night’s sleep.
You awake to silence, or someone telling you the power’s out.
No electricity, no phone, no internet, no radio.
If you’re lucky (or smart), you’re away from population centers which will see starving masses within 5 days.
For most, it’s about this time the thought occurs about the needs most taken for granted: Food, water, security, information.
And you thought COVID was frightening...

Keep your powder dry and your long range walkie talkies charged.
Oh, and your pantry well stocked.

Belarus is a Russian ally. Replace it with Poland and the story is believable. Thanks. Not sure where I heard it but I heard, incorrectly, that we (NATO) deployed there.

There will come a time when the US must have Russian oil, and Russia will specify a price for it that cannot be printed by the Fed. They will demand disarmament.
THAT would be the hill to die on. 1.5 Billion is pretty light, actually. You hit refineries and ports and starvation kills more than radiation. Yes, that is the hill to die on.
Not a country 8000 miles away that essentially no one in the US cared about 6 months ago. Mostly what is going on is the DNC commissioned a poll asking how they can reduce damage in the Mid terms. The answer was . . . get the virus off the front page. They jumped on this opportune story.

Belarus is a Russian puppet state, not a Ukraine ally or member of NATO. Some of the forces the Russians invaded with came from BelarusYup. You are correct. Substitute any of the other, more NATO-oriented, countries in that region.

Of course this is idiotic!
For once, Belarus is, somewhat reluctant, Russian ally.
So all Belarus references here are by definition wrong!
Anyway, the Ukrainians are fighting for everybody else and deserve all the help they can get!
Where else would you draw the red line to stop Russian expansion?
On the rim of the Appalachians?

If you’d seen Tucker Carlsons monologue on Bidens Ministry of Disinformation tonightTo my mind, this is a necessary outgrowth of the upcoming war. Propaganda must be tightly-controlled in a wartime footing.

1.5 billion dead and wounded worldwide. EMP has destroyed about a third of the world's electronics. The worldwide economy stops outright. Starvation, residual radiation, and regional conflict claims another 2 billion lives in the next two years.
"It worked!"
