Sounds cruel, but not as bad as letting them run wild, in gangs, in today's ghettos.

But then in today's world, rather than placing them by the woods for the animals, we just use 'Planned Parenthood' and kill them early.

Or on the church steps. That's where the Italian surname "Esposito" came from—it means "exposed", as in "to the elements" or "to fate."
